Summer Sunshine

What an amazing week of red hot days. I have been very busy planting out vegetables and flowers in all my gardens. Everything is growing fast including the weeds.

The runner beans are in the Artful Garden.
With the sun they are growing fast
I have got some scaffolding net to cover the veg on the allotment. I have planted kale, broad beans, french beans, broccoli, cabbage so we will be self sufficient when it comes to harvesting.
All planted now ready for the net to protect the crops from birds and insects

On Tuesday we had a train ride from Glasgow to Mallaig. A stunningly beautiful journey.

I have been making a series of peg dolls that can be put in plant pots or just used as decoration.
