Tatton Park and Beyond

I have been busy in my gardens trying to keep on top of the weeds and harvesting, peas, beans, turnips, potatoes and cabbage.

I visited the Tatton Park Flower Show. I always love the art work on display.

Settle Down or Settle Up

Last Saturday we had a trip on the train to Settle. I loved this picture in the window of Skipton Building Society.
Knit one purl one

We had a walk along the river Ribble. A sheep carcass lay on the rocks. it is strange that no one removed it.
Dry bones

I love this fish made from plant pots.
A clever idea

Looking over towards the surrounding hills.
There had been quite a lot of snow on the journey, very little at Settle

Settle station is very bonny.

Look at the benches. I love the humour.

Sauntering Around Settle

Settle is a beautiful town in North Yorkshire and whilst we were there there was a plant pot festival. Many of the local businesses had taken part.

A funny bunny.
Hop along to my shop

Spongebob outside the stationers.
Look at how he is constructed

Have you thought of doing this with plant pots?

Beware of the dinosaur.

We had a walk up the hillside. Look at the size of the stones that formed the base of the wall.
