Christmas Cometh

Only one week to go before Christmas so I am very busy. I went to the Artful Garden yesterday to check the garden for damage from the strong winds. Just as I was leaving a robin landed on the shoulder of Boozie Floosie.

I have made three different designs for my homemade cards.

This Christmas tree wins the prize for the most sparse tree ever. Decoration by Carlisle railway staff.
Which is the greater the tree or the tinsel?

This is the wreath I have made for my back door.
Fir cones, holly, euphorbia and ivy flower heads

This one I made for the front door.
Cinnamon sticks, ivy flower heads, variegated holly

On a trip to Glasgow there was an amazing display of lights hanging from the balconies in Frasers department store.

On a trip to Alston yesterday the mist hung in the valley.

My next blog will feature the Christmas Spectacular in the Artful Garden.
