Christmas Continues

I thought I would share with you my Christmas tree decorations. The ones I love the most were made by my children when they were at primary school. Each Christmas they look to see if their decorations are on display.

We always have a Christmas tree bought from a local tree supplier and we buy a Nordmann fir.

The fairy is always on the top of the tree.

Christmas is a time for a dramatic display with the church flowers.

I built up the displays on the church windowsills just by using foliage.

Lotta Bottle managed to find an outfit that shows all her attributes. Also she was the first to grab the garter as she thought only her legs could show it off to the full potential.

Charley Barley had a problem with his wellington boots. Rainwater gets in around the top and it causes his legs to buckle.

The Bottle Boys and the Bottle Babes wanted to join in the celebrations.

Boozy Floosie managed to stay up straight and sober enough to get into her outfit. Interestingly her wine glass never left her hand whilst she was getting dressed.

Three Christmas owls have flown to roost in the apple tree. I think it was the tinsel that attracted them.

Christmas Cometh

Only one week to go before Christmas so I am very busy. I went to the Artful Garden yesterday to check the garden for damage from the strong winds. Just as I was leaving a robin landed on the shoulder of Boozie Floosie.

I have made three different designs for my homemade cards.

This Christmas tree wins the prize for the most sparse tree ever. Decoration by Carlisle railway staff.
Which is the greater the tree or the tinsel?

This is the wreath I have made for my back door.
Fir cones, holly, euphorbia and ivy flower heads

This one I made for the front door.

On a trip to Glasgow there was an amazing display of lights hanging from the balconies in Frasers department store.
