Crazy Cobwebs

Early this week we had a very frosty morning which allowed some amazing cobwebs to be on display.

Paper Mache

There has been a lot of rain this week so not much chance of doing any gardening apart form some weeding.

Exciting Exhibitions

On Monday I visited the Biscuit Factory. An amazing gallery with some outstanding art. All very inspirational.

I loved this plaster sculpture of a lion. So realistic in it's movement. I might have a go at trying to make something similar. I have created a bird using a wire base which I hope to complete next week.

Winter Approaches

Winter is on its way. The nights are drawing in and we now have to walk the dog just after 4pm.

Look at the reflections in the River Eden

Most of the trees have shed their leaves.
The beech trees look beautiful.

This is my first attempt at pastel painting.
